What I’m Working On:
My husband Phil and I have been collaborating on a series of videos pairing my pastel art with his original contemplative piano music. During the first week of the shutdown, we created a video called Sanctuary, pairing several of my most recent pastel paintings with Phil’s composition, In The Blink Of An Eye.
When Phil wrote this music, he was thinking about how things in life can change so rapidly. The name Sanctuary seems fitting in that people have now become their own sanctuary. Our intent was to use art and music to instill a sense of well being, peace and hope.
