What I’m Working On:
I’ve been working on a commission for a pair of porcelain shoes. The person who commissioned them has a few other pieces of my work and had some ideas on the color of the shoes, but otherwise wanted me to have artistic license.
I received this commission before the Covid-19 crisis began and half-expected the project to be cancelled, but thankfully the collector is happily awaiting seeing them, and having them still. I am so grateful to the people who support my work. I know many are suffering in heartbreaking ways so it is remarkable that there is hope that we artists, and so all of us, can see hope for the future.
