What I’m Working On:

I’m working on wood boxes for Mother’s Day gifts. There is a special Mother’s Day inscription laser engraved to the underside of each lid. I also make boxes for other occasions, and offer custom laser engraving. All of my boxes are made entirely of wood, including the hinges and fasteners. All of the colors are natural; I use a clear oil finish, but no stains or dyes.

The dramatic *Scarab VII* (Koa body, Mango wood trays) is an example Jone’s series of “Very Special Boxes.”
