What I’m Working On:
I have just finished a non-representational diptych titled Alone Together. In this piece, I did not want to show what isolation looks like, but what it feels like. Also, two mixed-media pieces, Mantled in Mist and Veiled in Mist, depict an uncertain future in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. The fog always clears and that is the optimistic message these works express.

Rimas and Mary,
I love the online version of Asheville Made! It’s a brilliant idea, in light of our current pandemic situation, that sets a new standard for sustaining Asheville’s arts culture. I also appreciate the opportunity to be featured. The article looks great.
